CE Category C — what it means

Certified to Design Category C under the Recreational Craft Directive (2013/53/EU): inshore and coastal waters, up to Beaufort 6 (~27 knots) and waves up to ~2 m. The manufacturer’s guidance is to reduce sail above ~15 knots — which, with a furling main, is the work of a moment.

Setup & transport

Trailerable and kept at home — no marina berth. Rigged and launched in about 20 minutes. The unstayed 6 m mast (~12 kg) is stepped and unstepped single-handed in under ten minutes.

Options

  • Carbon mast
  • Camping / boom tent (in development)
  • Light alloy boom (the sail still furls)
  • Additional ballast (2×30 or 2×50 kg) for displacement cruising
  • Cover, trailer, accessories
